However, NFTs are more like Yu Gi Oh cards- one-of-a-kind trading tokens that if you trade one for another, you will receive a token different from the one you gave away.

Customers in web3 usually use their wallet to manage their digital assets and presences as opposed to use their email or phone for identification. This is heavily valued in the web3 communities as it protects their privacy while allowing them to interact with the world with a public identification. Thus delivering promotions contained in an NFT to their wallet is much more welcomed than spamming them with email, SMS, or social media notifications.
NFT can contain more than a promotion code. It can contain an appealing image, animation, or other forms of collectibles that makes the delivery of a piece of information about your business more intriguing.
